eDAO NH7 Bacardi Weekender

Introduction

The eDAO NH7 Bacardi Weekender project introduced a unique digital experience, blending live event engagement with blockchain technology. This project aimed to provide concert-goers with a Proof of Attendance NFT, rewarding participants who completed specific tasks, such as following Bacardi on social media. This integration of crypto rewards at a live event allowed fans to carry a digital memento, further enhancing engagement and community loyalty.

My Role

As a product design intern for the eDAO NH7 Bacardi Weekender project, my role focused on designing a seamless, user-friendly interface for participants to claim their NFTs. I collaborated closely with the project and development teams to ensure that the design facilitated an easy and enjoyable user journey—from task completion to NFT acquisition.

Process

The process started with ideation and gathering design inspiration to create an interface that would resonate with concert-goers. Wireframes were then developed, followed by design iterations based on user testing and feedback. Each stage was meticulously documented, ensuring that every design decision aligned with the project’s objectives. The final design streamlined the NFT claiming process, making it accessible even to those unfamiliar with blockchain.

Learnings

This project offered hands-on experience with blockchain integration in a live event setting. I gained valuable insights into the challenges and requirements of designing for digital collectibles and blockchain-based experiences, particularly in enhancing user engagement in a non-gaming context. It deepened my understanding of how NFT elements can be seamlessly integrated into real-world events, creating meaningful digital interactions.
